Range Rules

Please take a minute to review the range rules.
If you have any questions please ask the staff.

1. Everyone at the range (including spectators)are strongly encouraged to wear protective eye and ear protection.

2. Before anyone takes a firearm and/or ammunition out of their vehicle, they must first sign in with the Range Officer and get authorization.

3. Firearms must be transported to the firing line while in a hard or soft gun case.
They must remain unloaded until instructed to load by the Range Officer.

4. The barrel of a firearm must be pointed in a safe direction (i.e. down range) at all times.
Your finger is to be kept off the trigger until the firearm is pointed at your target.

5. There is absolutely no consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances allowed on the range. Participants are not to have consumed any medication (legal or illegal) and/or alcoholic beverages which might impair their judgement and/or reflexes.

6. The Range Officer or Officers are the absolute authority on the range.
They may require anyone to leave the property if they believe safety is at risk.

7. Anyone at the range (participants, spectators, range officers, etc.) may call a "cease fire" if they see an unsafe situation.

8. Safety, First, Last and Always.

Please report any unsafe condition immediately!
